Ehh to argue against. It's hard to judge space battles but, the Dendarii ships are quite fragile compared to Imperial ships, both have energy weapons and sheilds that are 'my-numbers-are-bigger-then-yours' territory; imperials can't really do E-War, but are somewhat impervious for the same reason

Infantry wise, The Dendarii do have Nural disruptors, but such tech is not unknown threats to Marines (Necron snipers use them) and its unclear how much penetrative power they have (they are not treated as if they can fire through walls), but P-Armour probably wont help

My best beloved Ivan is still early in the character development, but my other best beloved Duv is a gem from the outset; the lightbulb conversation remains one of the best extended scenes in the whole series, but I also love Miles’ first conversation with Mark so so much. choose again, and change.

Fair, but the transition from Shards of Honor to Warrior’s Apprentice might be would still be rough, and there might also be issues with adapting the early Miles books, because the author seems to be trying to wriggle out of writing Dendarii Mercenaries plots immediately.

Here's the full company of #battletech minis I've been painting. It's not a canon color scheme... for Battletech. It's inspired by the brown and silver livery of House Vorkosigan. I thought it was also the Dendarii Free Mercenaries (fitting the merc set) but it turns out they just use boring grey.

Like, I need to make this clear

A Dendarii combat drop shuttle has a miniaturized mass shield and sword swallower - the first stops projectiles up to high C speeds and the second absorbs laser light to power itself. Their primary weapons are plasma cannons and a tractor beam.
