#Deyas
I love "is it Diwali today". Wouldn't have worked in Trinidad though, because we celebrate Diwali the proper way, with coconut oil and clay deyas!

Indo-Trinidadians celebrate Diwali using clay deyas filled with coconut oil. Apparently Indians in India use electric Christmas lights. You'd think they'd know how to celebrate their own religious festivals, but apparently only we do 😂

Freya's biggest turn on is quick wit and biting. She *loves* biting. Her biggest turn off is Templars. (Sorry Cullen)

Deyas biggest turn on is playing with her hair. Her biggest turn off is being called certain names.

I want to know! What would be your #DABlorbos' biggest turn-on and turn-off?

Freya lost her virginity to the nephew of her mentor. They dated in secret for years. He was a toxic emotionally abusive asshole who later sold her to a coterie to pay his gambling debts

I'd rather not get into Deyas. It's horrible.

Elswyth lost theirs to Davrin after Tearstone Island

Ami me suena a bambol, que en catalán significa:
BÀMBOL, BÀMBOLA m. i f.
Curt d'enteniment (Mall., Men.); cast. bobo, tonto. Em deyas que m'estimavas; | ¡y jo bàmbol que m'ho creya!, Ignor. 17.

Good for her! I hope her vengeance comes sooner rather than later. Is she going to run into zevran at all though? Or is she going to convince the de rivia house to help? (My julieta would definitely help, given half a chance. She hates people like deyas old talon)

I am Christian.

Let me say that now.

Yes, I know how problematic religions can be (3 semesters of theology and a plethora of books only underscored that for me).

But being Trinibagonian, means I have respect for and embrace different religious traditions (I light deyas same way).

Across our islands, as the new moon rises, thousands of deyas flicker to life - glowing in doorways, tracing fences and dancing across bamboo arches. But Divali is more than beauty. It’s a story of resilience, faith and unity - how cultures meet, adapt and shine together.
Divali in Trinidad And Tobago: The Light That Connects Us All
Divali reminds us that multiculturalism isn’t something to claim on paper; it’s something we practice. It’s how we show up for each other’s light.
