Just finished migrating a majority of the Slippi ranked reporting logic from dgraph to firestore.

I'm actually pretty excited about the prospect of migrating everything off of dgraph. I think it would improve speed, reliability, and cost. All big wins.

This also sets me up better to work on a ranked match history feature I've been wanting to work on for a while.

I was always a bit scared to do it because I wasn't sure if dgraph could handle the extra load that it will cause.

The prototype for my latest idea is a lil outside my usual toolset, which is cool actually.

I'll be starting with Apollo + GraphQL + Dgraph + Nuxt, and using Dgraph's Apollo federation support to reduce the amount of work I need to do to work on the actual concept.

No idea where this is going yet.
