It’s France. Students, their parents and teachers started the demos because the government has been giving more funding to private schools than state ones. The schools are in disrepair. To add to this the police became particularly brutal, injuring kids. We won’t stand for that. 🇫🇷

so, now, my old roomie needs to pay for a 2000 apartment alone on a disability income. she's decided to just go to the tenancy board about all the bilaws they're breaking and the general negligent disrepair. good for her. 🖐️

These late 1970s photos by Darius Aidala show the Hollywood sign before the 1978 replacement went up. I’m rather shocked at the state of extreme disrepair that Hollywood’s most famous icon had been allowed to fall into before Alice Cooper decided to do something about it.
