You are right. The political system in America has become skewed to serving the wealthy, leaving the great majority without a share of the prosperity. A big part of the problem is the #DonorClass, and Citizens United, which allows endless money to influence American politics, instead of the people.

It’s tough having only 2 parties when neither are focused on regular folks and both are swayed more by the #DonorClass than what families need. There are still opportunities for the Democrat leadership to reset their focus, but NYC will struggle with its path. I’m sorry you lost your Dad so young.
