imho DOS1 is the better game (i hate the armor system in DOS2 and think it ruins the flow of encounters) but fort joy is an extremely well crafted area that it makes up for it but the moment you reach the end of it the momentum is gone

yeah i'm playing dos1 with faer (though fyi i don't think fae likes faer name being used publicly)
dos2 is better iirc so if you have little patience for old turn based rpg type games that could be a better start

It was fun, but DOS2 is definitely a step up. No only less clunky, and improved combat (and combat speed! You think BG3 is slow?), but also so much better a story.
Still, DOS1 is fun. DOS2 is better. Can't wait for DOS3 or whatever the next Divinity instalment will be.
