So in Dragonfire the backstreet which is never mentioned in the plot is that Kommeni got just randomly killed in a car accident in France and when the Shah dies of cancer he a more decelopmentalist court faction takes over and basically puppetises his son.

My mum very kindly bought me Dragonfire on VHS off eBay when I was a kid c. 2008. I watched it on our telly which still had a video player; it wasn’t out on DVD yet but I was just that keen to see the face-melting story.
DOCTOR WHO: DRAGONFIRE (1987) featured a brief Raiders-style face-melting scene which went out at 7.35pm. Top marks to the YouTuber who spliced the full unedited version into the original clip. Early evening gore? This is what they want!

For her they're Dragonfire Red from the AP Adventurer set, Demonic Yellow and Speedpaint Moonlake Coral also from AP, and Reaper's Imperial Purple. Haven't decided yet on mine except maybe either the AP Speedpaints Hoplite Gold or Hoard Bronze

the Dragonfire will have a special flywheel energy device (concept developed in Formula 1 racing) to help supply the BIG juice for short bursts.
That means this thing will be BIG and stationary, which means it will be easy to fly around and avoid.

Also, one of the main problems with lasers on the battlefield has always been power supply with HIGH peak demand for very short periods. The Dragonfire is intended for ship mounting, which is fine since a ship has large power capabilities. However, even with with the power supply of a whole ship,

I'm pretty sure there are no Dragonfire lasers in Ukraine. It has been discussed, but I do not think it has happened.
