i can dualboot to be ultra safe if that ever happens but like... what am i gonna do, keep a windows install around for games that require kernel anti-cheat? pfffffffffffffffffffbbbbbfffff

Linux attempt 1:
Running from a dualboot to make sure things work. Can't get bios to show to let me boot through without unplugging a monitor.
Plug it back in
Linux: oh yeah there's a second monitor :) you cant see a display though
In-package drivers change nothing

if i have to dualboot and run lightroom i will be unhappy. Dualbooting WindowsXP to play Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge (RIP Westwood Studios) before good win7 fixes existed was totally worth doing, but not for Lightroom >_>...

I was able to fix windows on my now dualboot PC so it shows the correct time even after switching to Linux and back instead if reverting to UTC!
