Lunch at The Britannia, Dungerness after watching a male Red breasted Flycatcher at the bird Obs.
Other bits included smart male Black Redstart,2 adult Peregrines and this very tame fox.

Had a great day at Dungerness RSPB reserve today - 48 species of birds seen/ heard including the White- winged black tern, 5 Little gulls, Ruff, Avocet and Marsh harrier. Also saw my first ever Grey Bush- cricket. A national scarcity, but reasonably common here apparently.

The Kent coastline is wonderful. There's a cycle path pretty much all the way from Whitstable to Dungerness. Thoughly recommended. There's the Crab & Winkle line to Canterbury...

Thanks for that, I’m not really surprised, quite a few stations got sold off about a year after I moved on.
