At my school a brief trend in assembly was to bend a piece of metal coat hanger into a U shape, attach an elastic band with a metal washer in the middle, twist said band taut and hold against hymn book in blazer pocket and release at appt. moment. Sounded like a huge fart. Childish but fun.
