Great to be able to join the @learnworkuk.bsky.social English, Maths and ESOL conference online this morning, no need to get out there in the cold and snow! #EMESOLConf24

Enjoying @learnworkcymru.bsky.social English, maths and ESOL online conference today. Insights from a range of speakers and an update on PIAAC OECD adult skills survey - next set of results expected 10th December @oecd-stat.extwitter.link #EMESOLConf24

Great to hear from learners about their motivations and experiences with adult education: Maths, English and ESOL. Plus the impact that has had on their lives. Thank you! Inspirational stories - I am smiling at your successes! 🎉😀👍🎉

#EMESOLConf24 - nice to hear success stories from learners, but it might be more informative to hear from those learners let down or failed by the current educational system

Looking forward to the main plenary of #EMESOLConf24 at 10.00 this morning.

Then chairing one of the breakout sessions from 11.45 - discussing the impact of #AdultEducation devolution within England on #ESOL.

Have joined the Learning & Work Institute #EMESOLConf24 online thus avoiding the need for standing on a chilly/Snowy railway station. Interesting to hear about the next cycle of PIAAC and how this might drive policy and practice for English, Maths & ESOL learning. #EvidenceBased #Research
