It was a for-profit ambulance company, Lynx EMS. Great idea, farming out our EMS to commercial enterprises.
How do you get "lost" anymore? Surely an ambulance has GPS. And EVERYone in Cleveland knows where the Cleveland Clinic is. It's mammoth! Let alone a fucking ambulance driver!

Dwight Jackson was putting up Halloween decorations outside his home in Chattahoochee, Florida, when he suffered a seizure. His brother called for medical help, and EMS arrived.
According to his brother, medics were still treating Jackson when Sgt. Price pushed past them and used a Taser on him.

I had a dream that I was a clone of, well, myself. That I went by Lena, while the "original" went by Ems. And it was a relief, not being the "real" Ems. Whenever I acted "strange" no one cared, it's just because I'm the clone. No pressure to be or do anything. It was nice, but also wistful.
