1b. elves are often written to be "human-like, but better". When done poorly, it's extremely grating (Eragon being the first example that comes to mind) and even when done well, it makes some people insecure to imagine that humans aren't the best at something

Everything with Eragon and Arya the elf princess is just so, SO good. So descriptive and detailed once the elven realm is reached. Hope Disney doesn’t fuck up the live-action series..super worried. These books mean a lot to me. Well wasn’t a fan if the last but still

Eragon is compared to Star Wars and definitely can approach LOTR territory. There is HEAVY inspiration from both….but idc still absolute love it. Especially the second book.

Big mouth is the worst thing that has ever insulted my eyes. Closely followed by the Avatar movie and the netflix adaptation. Also, bonus points for the Eragon movie ;)
