You get to wipe two published works of fiction from history, as though they never came to be. You may use this opportunity to correct negative downstream social maladies, but nobody is going to be weird about it if you don’t. What’s gone, and what’s different?

eragon was an extremely important book to me growing up (very sad the rest of the books sucked so much ass but i digress) so it's kind of shaped my want/need to write a dragon book. also i have loved dragons since i existed probably

Kommt immer mega drauf an wie die Serie ist. Wenn die Abweichungen gut rein passen, wieso auch immer ist okay. Als Gegenbeispiel: Eragon war Hardcore Shit.

It's so funny to finally drop a name for the game you announced 8 years ago and it's like, the placeholder name you make for a shire in an Eragon fanfic

I'm definitely enjoying Brisingr more, despite how much of it Eragon and Saphira spend separated. There are fewer sections that I find painful to read, definitely, even if Eragon continues to hold the idiot ball a lot of the time xD

Book 30 of 2026, "The Void Dragon" by @annabelcwrites.bsky.social .
Excellent follow up to The Outcast Mage! Eragon meets Avatar: TLA, but the Avatar is sort of evil and all the elemental nations keep killing their reincarnations.

Eragon and Star Wars' original trilogy (kind of a cheat because the author of Eragon did deliberately make it fantasy star wars :))

Of a (slightly) younger age, 'Eragon' was my first movie I remember being truly bad. Except the guy who played Brom (?), the old mentor dude.
Then again the books themselves aren't that well-written, so.

Playing video games when I was a kid was so funny. I used to play the one level of the Eragon PC game over and over because you got to fly around as a dragon and kill stuff. I used to run in circles in the starting area of Barbie Horse Adventures trying to see if I could do it faster the next time
