1/6🧵 Heute veröffentlichte Zahlen der @STATISTIK_AT Austria (#EUSILC-Daten) zeigen: Kinderarmut bleibt ein ungelöstes Problem. In Österreich lebt jedes 5. Kind in Armut oder sozialer Ausgrenzung. Das sind 344.000 Kinder. #KinderarmutAbschaffen

Fazit:
Es gibt #Facharbeiter mit #Spitzensteuersatz.
Aber es sind wohl nur sehr wenige, die man mit der Lupe suchen muss.
Empirie schwierig:
Verdiensterhebung, Mikrozensus/EUSilc, SOEP, Einkommensteuerstatistik.
Passt alles nicht ganz

Using decomposition analysis and macro-level regressions on #EUSILC data for years 2004 to 2017, we find a consistent, negative relationship between employment (individual and household levels) and relative income poverty. This challenges previous findings and concerns of social policy experts.
