So many great EV conversions out there! Here's a Corvair wagon by Tony Breheny with ALL the patina:
A First Gen (1960-64) Chevy Corvair Lakewood station wagon on its original faded and rusty white paint, tell-tale vent louvers visible at the top of the rear fender to allow air to enter for its original air-cooled pancake flat-4 engine. The rear lower access panel is open and a cable from the nearby charging station is connected. The Colorado plate reads OHMWAGN (Ohm Wagon)

when - or IF - Rivian expands to Europe, i'm thinking it's gonna look bad compared to Chinese EVs available in Europe.

eg: Rivian R2 charges at a meagre 230kw - that's below HALF the 525kw charging in the Xpeng G9 (pic). and the Zeekr 7X can do 450kw

Ok, I’ve an article in progress on historical data for EV adoption in Ireland. But holy moly, #EVs are now the #1 fuel source for pass vehicles sold in Ireland!

EV sales are up 61% over 2025, and hold a 26.12% market share of fuel sources, above Petrol elec (non-PHEV) at 24.59%.

It's a ploy by big oil to keep the legacies selling ICE. Hybrids were meant to be a gateway to BEVs. Hybrids combine all the complexity and issues of ICE and BEV combined. In a few years when BEV prices reach ICE parity, hybrids are going to be more expensive. Buy a BEV and drive happy. #EVSky
