i keep making my fictional lesbians into mid30-early40s married couples where 1 of them has a traumatic illness / condition & they both attempt to live life normally while ignoring the severity of its existence. it remains unspoken for the most part but the regret is palpable

The motion picture industry union does have an excellent nursing home, where my mother-in-law spent her last few months. (She wasn't an actor; did secretary/clerical/publicist work, though she'd also been a dancer on the Jersey Shore in the ?late30s?early40s?.)

they have an adverse reaction to the vaccine (I have two close friends who had to be hospitalized, both in their late 30s/early40s, not everyone gets to take days off from work!!!) &c&c. But pmc people in blue states can't comprehend how others live so kept insisting they didn't *want* the vaccine

Sorry for the long reply - I'm not one of the lucky ones and think peri started in my late 30s/early40s but had problems getting it recognised. At one point I was convinced I had early onset dementia or that I'd lost the plot entirely. Still in peri but I know more now. Always happy to chat x

Yes….so far I just have the one winter pudge back 🤞. Getting un-fitness in late30s/early40s gave me a lot of compassion…..and I got to learn the truth about just how few calories aging women burn.

I suppose this man gave up on love and affection long time ago and - BAM - "suddenly" in his late30/early40s he has a loving bf he can experience romance with - something uncommon for gay men, especially the middle-aged ones (pun intended).
