The motion picture industry union does have an excellent nursing home, where my mother-in-law spent her last few months. (She wasn't an actor; did secretary/clerical/publicist work, though she'd also been a dancer on the Jersey Shore in the ?late30s?early40s?.)

Me, too. I've spent too much of my late30s dealing with the aftermath of a "they sleep, we grind" mindset in young adulthood. My 40s will be a reclamation of rest, with sleep hygiene being paramount.

Yes….so far I just have the one winter pudge back 🤞. Getting un-fitness in late30s/early40s gave me a lot of compassion…..and I got to learn the truth about just how few calories aging women burn.

I'd use that.
To flip it around, I find it off whenever people portray and write especially spawnAstarion as this suave, sexual confident cosmopolitan, like you'd write a confident human man in his late30s-mid40s. I suspect it's the choice to give him age lines instead of making him look haggard

I had one & I loved it so much! It was Demolition Man & a surprise Christmas present from my first husband. They’d locked it in the “ boys’ den” & I was afraid it was going to be an exercise bike but, taa daaaa on Christmas morning I was allowed in & I was ecstatic.
