#Echeck
We should be good there. But his bank is a different story. It shouldn’t be, but this fraudulent transaction - echeck - is covered under a different statute.

Bank treating it like a business account. A contract dispute — bank is out of it.

Explains why we were brushed off and ushered out.

eCheck is no longer pending because it was...canceled actually! 🙃

I've messaged the person who sent it about it but as it stands right now, I'm out of that money at coincidentally, the worst time possible! :')
HEY heads up to any future commissioners. I'm having issues with my paypal currently (pending echeck taking FOREVER and basically locking my paypal funds in the process)

So I'm not going to be accepting it currently. So sorry for the inconvenience,, :(

A whole $90 just sitting in paypal I can't move because of the pending eCheck thing. I've now waited a week and a half of the eCheck's to try and clear but the first time, they were declined by the senders bank which has made me pretty suspicious overall

Really hope I can still make rent somehow. Paypal not letting my transfer out the money from my latest commission because of a pending eCheck someone sent me A WEEK AGO is nuts :(

Cash flow problems usually aren't about how much revenue you're generating — they're about how long it takes to actually collect it.

ACH and eCheck processing can help close that gap. Not a fix-all, but a meaningful place to start.

Morning!! I still need $150 to ensure the echeck clears my account 😥

That's 6 ppl giving me $25...15 ppl giving me $10...30 ppl giving me $5...150 ppl giving me each $1

not really that many people, and it would keep me stable + housed...
Commissions are currently closed, tho I would be willing to take them in lieu of direct cash #mutualaid :

I am late (again) on my rent payment, just had an unexpected bill, and then I ran out of gas after getting to work. i don't wanna get evicted 🙃

$150 USD would resolve this

A check can look right.

The account behind it may tell a different story.

Before accepting and processing a check, verify the account first.

eCheck.io helps businesses check bank account status in real time before the payment moves.

ACH vs eCheck: What's the difference?

→ ACH payments: recurring, scheduled and automated bank payments

→ eChecks: electronic check payments commonly used for invoices and online transactions

Both are electronic payment methods, but they can serve different business needs.

A check shows you the payment.

It doesn't necessarily tell you what’s happening with the account behind it.

Before you deposit, get more than the paper.

Verify the account. Then decide.

I did it on-line with an echeck

Did some yardwork, ran to the dmv, the title bureau, echeck, got an oil change, picked up my gf, lifted weights, showered, laundry is in the dryer...

If you need me I'll be high as a kite for the rest of the night ✌️

Sketch of a commission I paid for around a week ago (PayPal was mainly being slow af and processed payment through echeck. Could've been paid instantly but nooooooo, PayPal wanted me to wait a week lol) -w-

One failed check can create emails, calls, follow-ups, approvals and hours of work.

The better move?

Know the account before you deposit.

Verify first. Avoid the chain reaction.

More revenue.
More transactions.
More pressure on cash flow.

U.S. businesses need payment infrastructure that can scale with them.

ACH + eCheck = more ways to keep payments moving.

eCheck-in on MyChart had to be the biggest fraud perpetuated upon me

A payment shouldn't be the moment you discover something is wrong.

For businesses, the smarter sequence is simple:

Check the account → make the decision → move the money.

Real-time bank account verification puts information where it belongs: before the transaction.

I checked my account yesterday and discovered that my most recent card payment had been doubled up with an invented autopay echeck that was never authorized. My statement of account shows wildly inaccurate numbers going back years.

Your customer has a favorite way to pay.

Maybe it’s a card.
Maybe it’s ACH.
Maybe it’s an eCheck.

Payment preferences change with the customer, transaction, and situation.

So instead of asking, “What payment method should we offer?”

Ask:

“How does our customer want to pay?”
