This Echinocereus expels tiny galaxies into the night air.

Naughty flower left a tiny, invisible spine in my finger. I finally got it out after a month of minor agony. I did get a photo op out of it, though!

Wishing everyone a peaceful day. I'll be off hiking in the Northern California coastal mountains, pretending nothing else exists.

In my own little mythology, this Hedgehog Cactus bloom is the origin of the universe. Easy to get lost in this stuff.
