#Electable
Because then the guy the picked because he is electable will not be electable, It would be funny if all the pragmatic electable people lose there elections and the far left DSA types win. Then centrist will have to admit they just want right leaning people regardless of how electable they are

Very crazy radical leftist lady versus extremely electable pragmatist

Anyone who complains about not nominating a more "electable" candidate needs to contend with the fact that the more electable candidate was Haley Stevens
a senator stevens would have been one minor criticism away from switching parties it looks like

I am the most electable of motherfuckers.
I am the most electable, motherfuckers.

in his defense, she proved to be infectiously charismatic and electable every time she was on camera

Haley Stevens was the safe, electable candidate???

“(X) isn’t electable” isn’t analysis: it’s a threat and a promise - do as you’re told, or we will make damn sure you regret it.
"being pro-trans isn't electable in the uk"

2024: labour won on a moderately pro-trans platform

2019: tory win on an ambiguous (but not hostile) one

2017: tory win on a pro-trans platform

2010 & 15 tory wins after making a show of being socially liberal

2005: lab win just after passing the gra

She was LESS electable than AES the entire time.

He's electable if we vote for him

She's electable if you vote for her.

Wait...isn't there a Republican Senate candidate in South Carolina who changed her name to be more electable...this year...
After handing Trump a new way to attack our democracy the @nytimes now admits it’s “not unusual” to stack the ballot. 🤔

“Ballot stacking is hardly unheard of in American politics — up and down ballots, across party lines. Here are a few examples.”

Been saying it all along... Pete Buttigieg is totally electable as potus!
November 4, 2026 at 2:19 AM
So now that Haley Stevens is openly a Republican operative, do people still think she's more electable than El-Sayed
November 1, 2026 at 7:55 PM
So far, he's made Hunter Biden look electable.
November 2, 2026 at 8:55 PM
Actually you know, my apologies; that's not fair. Kamala is the second-least electable Democrat. The FIRST-least electable Democrat is fuckin Gavin Newsom and it will be a cold day in hell before I vote for him, ever.

like some Republicans love Trump more than their own families and other Republicans have merely been waiting their whole lives for someone to make "Racism: It's Good!" an electable policy position and now see Trump's massive unpopularity as an anchor. they are going to kill each other
November 4, 2026 at 1:53 AM
Very funny to see the GOP attempt to reverse course and become electable on...the morning of the elections. Great timing, gentlemen.
November 3, 2026 at 2:55 PM
Matty Yglesias is still defending how he said Haley Stevens was a more electable candidate than AES and look if you think this guy is at all worth listening to, I have a new investment opportunity for you that will surely double your money
November 4, 2026 at 12:09 AM
Haley Stevens is still electable if you VOTE for her
November 3, 2026 at 2:26 PM
There will be a whole bunch of narratives about “Black voters” and “Jewish voters” planted in the media to avoid reckoning with the loss of trust that is downstream from the fact that the establishment-certified Electable Candidate turned out to be a total crank
Not a mystery why the Democratic base (including moderate liberals) lost trust in the establishment and leadership. The base will crawl over glass to beat MAGA while the establishment boosts spoilers like Cuomo and Stevens.
The parallel here is Cuomo in the NYC mayor's race last year. Obviously those are very different constituencies, but in both cases the establishment Dem went all in on the Scary Brown Muslim Man narrative. It's hard to show it worked in NYC and it's not clear it moves the needle here.

If I remember correctly, real actual humans—PROFESSIONAL POLITICAL HUMANS—made the straight-faced argument with their real actual human mouths that Haley Stevens was more “electable.”
"I wanted to see if you wanted to fill in the silence, but you don't" -- OOOOOF this Haley Stevens interview on CNN is BRUTAL
November 2, 2026 at 2:45 AM

October 31, 2026 at 5:03 AM
I just wanna drop a massive "fuck you" to every liberal on here who claimed she was somehow the more electable candidate
Looks like Haley Stevens is at church with and is endorsing Mike Rogers this morning
