I went to the last #Montréal city council meeting before the November election last night, but was unable to ask any questions.

I did however get a very good hot-dog, hamburger, & a couple of Pepsi Colas from the striking municipal workers protesting outside. 😀

Before Valérie Plante quit, I expected the 2025 election would be an anti-Plante election, just as the 2017 & 2021 elections were anti-Coderre elections.

I think Ensemble Montréal made a HUGE mistake making Denis Coderre its mayoralty candidate in 2021.

L’aspirant maire propose aussi de diminuer le recours à des sous-traitants et à des consultants externes, pour plutôt faire exécuter le travail par des employés de la Ville. Il martèle que les #colsbleus peuvent faire les travaux de voirie à moindre coût que les entreprises privées.
