In a strategic push to strengthen its artificial intelligence portfolio, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is expanding its partnerships with leading frontier AI companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Mistral AI. The move reflects a broader shift from conventional go-to-market (GTM) alliances toward deeper, end-to-end strategic collaborations focused on infrastructure, enterprise deployment, and innovation. Speaking during the company’s recent earnings discussion, TCS leadership indicated that the firm is already working significantly with Anthropic and is expected to announce a formal strategic partnership soon. OpenAI has introduced a new $100-per-month ChatGPT subscription tier designed for heavy users of its AI coding assistant, Codex, marking a major expansion of its premium offerings for developers and enterprise users. The new plan delivers five times more Codex usage than the standard $20 Plus tier, catering to users who require longer and more intensive coding sessions. The launch positions the new tier between ChatGPT Plus and OpenAI’s existing $200 premium Pro plan, creating a more accessible mid-tier option for professionals seeking higher limits without moving to the top-end subscription. OpenAI said the plan still includes core Pro features, along with expanded access to Codex tools. To accelerate adoption, OpenAI has also announced a temporary promotional boost through May 31, allowing $100 subscribers to receive up to 10 times the Codex usage available on the Plus plan.
