Excellent video (almost an hour, but worth the watch) explaining why you probably don't know anyone who identifies as having long COVID.
Well referenced, which is what I like to see.

Silence

#EllieKPosts #sunset #landscapephotography #BayOfFundy #IleHaut #novascotia
A red setting sun reflecting in the slightly rippled waters of the bay. There is a very low island visible on the horizon, named Ile Haut, which is strange as it is so low. There are dark trees on left and right of the frame with some of the dark shore visible in the foreground.

Driftwood on Huntington Point Beach, Summer Sunset

We do get great sunsets on the beaches on the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia. This beach is out of range of any signal for internet or phone. Bliss.

#EllieKPosts #novascotia #sunset #beach #landscapephotography #landscape #shoreline
The view is through a pile of twisted driftwood, on a stony beach to the water of a flat bay and a distant, dark shore. There is a red sunset with dark clouds on the left of the image and drifting up ones on the right side.

English Mountain Road at Sunset

Busy with paperwork as tax filing looms.
Have a great day, friends, whatever you are doing.

A low hill with a golden field is flanked by trees under a moody sky. The sunset has cast a warm glow over the landscape.

Sunset over farmland

This is another photograph taken 5 minutes from my door. No need to travel. The sky is everywhere.
Have a wonderful Thursday, FediFriends!

An orange and yellow vibrant sunset in a sky of dark clouds with silhouettes of early spring trees and bushes at the bottom of the frame. It's about the sky.

Blue Hour
Baxter's Harbour on the Bay of Fundy.

For #silentsunday #EllieKPosts #landscape #landscapephotography #novascotia #BayOfFundy #sunset #bluehour
A very dark shore, small stones, curves from the bottom as it meets the calm water. The tide is out and there is a small rock island with a single small group of evergreens on the right side. There are other rock formations out into the water from a dark shore with trees at the top of the low cliff. The sunset is a muted pink and darker blue in a very blue sky and in the distance across the bay, it's either misty or low hills, which is hard to make out.

Let there be light.
Please.
Have a great Friday, everyone!

The very bottom of the frame has a flat rural landscape broken by a few tall trees. In the distance there are some low hills. Most of the image is taken up by the sky, which is dark heavy clouds broken by an extraordinary burst of sunlight pushing long jagged fingers through the cloud cover. The sun is just visible as a white circle in the middle,

The Old Barn and the Tree

#silentsunday #peaceful #winter #novascotia #landscape #landscapephotography #EllieKPosts #farmland
A rural scene of fields with a light covering of snow. A dirt farm track edged at the beginning with some bare bushes and trees leads from bottom left of the image up a little then bends around to the right side of the frame. Up a slight hill there is an old, weathered grey Dutch roofed barn (curved with a slight peak), and beside it as a good size tree with bare branches. There is an eagle somewhere in its branches, but not easy to make out at this distance.

Diaphanous Crocus

There was only one white crocus in the garden, so I took a multiple exposure photograph to show the essence of white crocuses!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a great day.

A multiple image of a white flower with yellow stamens. As it was taken in multiple exposures, some of it is transparent and it looks like a small patch of multiple flowers with some more transparent than other parts. The background is a little purple on the left, from other flowers and brown and green on the ground.

Joni was so cute when she was a puppy and before she got obsessed with herding the cats.
We wish you all both a happy #whiskerwednesday and #WoofWednesday , whatever you are doing.

A black and white border collie puppy, with head and shoulders only, facing the camera. She is looking very serious, almost like an ancestral portrait you might see hanging in a castle.

If you can get your cat to brush her own teeth, you're winning!

Happy #caturday to all who take refuge in this special day.

A large brown paper bag with twisted handles is in a black kitchen sink. In the paper bag is a young, slim tabby cat with big ears, a small reddish spot on her forehead and white whiskers curled around in front of her. She is sitting upright, looking just off centre in front of her.

Frozen
You can get some wonderful effects by freezing flowers in ice and then photographing them. You have to be quick, though...
Have a lovely Friday, friends, dreaming of the summer and flowers.

A purple fully open aquilegia flower with a yellow centre is suspended in frozen bubbles the partially obscure some of the petals. There is a bud curving up from the base slightly deeper in the ice. The whole image has bubbles and an icy look, with a purple tinge behind the flower but more white around the bud.
