There's no specific way to prove this but if you take, say, the 2016 October polling shift from emailgate, cut it *in half*, and apply it to 2024, you get a comfortable Harris victory.
But again, the argument is that if they had done their jobs (in your view) we’d know because Harris would be president, is that the thought?

Republican shoulder-shrugging on Hegseth shows that emailgate was total bullshit, and it sure would be great if some major press/media people would come out and say that SO plainly and SO definitively that Republicans are forced to respond to the attack on their honesty. Which they have none of.

I finished Adult Braces and wow what a ride. Outside of emailgate and everything that's occurred online in the last week (for those of us in the niche discourse pocket), I really appreciate this book. I have a lot of thoughts i'm trying to organize into something coherent.
