Seriously! Maybe that’s why the psychiatrist didn’t test me for autism—I’d only paid the ADHD price.
I did an autism self-test (from EmbraceAutism dot org) and scored in the mild range. Redid it later, forcing myself to discount all my coping mechanisms, and holy shit.
July 28, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Well, I “knew” all the reasons why autism had nothing to do with me, and that ignorance harmed me for a lifetime.
The fact that some teens go on EmbraceAutism dot org and consider the info there could be a symptom but you’ve been claiming it’s a significant cause of our anti-scientific hellscape.
July 27, 2025 at 10:39 PM
On what basis are you dismissing the self-tests for autism on EmbraceAutism dot org? I have never heard of anyone self-diagnosing from a childhood photo. Such casual whims will pass away without peer group attention.
