What a powerful reflection on the Enceladon Trilogy! 🌍📚 It's amazing how fiction can inspire us to think deeply about our planet. Keep reading and spreading the love for SFF! 💚✨ #BookSky #SFF #Climate
'The Enceladon Triliogy has been an amazing reading experience that has made me laugh, cry, get angry and really think about the planet, the environment and our part in it’s slow destruction'

Today on the blog I am sharing my thoughts on The Transcendent Tide by Doug Johnstone, the final part of the Enceladon trilogy. Happy sad times. Happy as, yay, another book. Sad as, boo, it's the last one. My thanks to Karen Sullivan of Orenda Books for the advance copy of the book, and to Anne Cater of Random Things Tours for including me on the tour.

Absolutely love - and highly recommend - the Skelf series by Doug Johnstone, and I am also thoroughly enjoying his Enceladon trilogy, and eagerly awaiting the third of that. Shuggie Bain (and Young Mungo) are also wonderful, but definitely put the reader through the wringer, emotionally!

'I never thought when I started this book that Sandy would become my favourite character: an Enceladon from Saturn’s moon Enceladus. In a strange way it is his humanity, when he is not human, and his benevolence that I was drawn to'
