oh my god I tracked down copies of ALL SIX BOOKS in the shotgun endnote and in the LAST ONE I CHECKED, the claim I was looking for does appear... as an uncited statement in a footnote. bro you can't just make stuff up people are gonna check.

Also, if there are parts that leave you wondering how I could possibly know about something that happened... again, I urge you to read the full book! I couldn't include my voluminous endnote citations in the magazine excerpt!!!
