Cuando tuve el periplo para que me operaran de un endometrioma (12 cm), pasé por unos 7 ginecólog@s diferentes. La última de ellas, me dijo que si me quedaba embarazada, si dios quería, que mira qué bien que no me operaban. Opus vibes. Mi respuesta, si me quedo embarazada fundo una religión. Muda.👇

In further good news for Chrimble, I do NOT have cancer. I had a revolting-sounding ‘chocolate cyst’ or endometrioma that had damaged the ovary and had clearly been bleeding a little and irritating and inflaming everything for ‘quite a while’. It is now in a jar in the teaching lab, apparently. Ha!

In further good news for Chrimble, I do NOT have cancer. I had a revolting-sounding ‘chocolate cyst’ or endometrioma that had damaged the ovary and had clearly been bleeding a little and irritating and inflaming everything for ‘quite a while’. It is now in a jar in the teaching lab, apparently. Ha!
Same, except mine was a grapefruit sized endometrioma that was torsioning my left ovary. It exploded a few months later and the ER at 3am was full of morons. Had to wait until 10am for surgery in the second worst pain of my life.

Es fácil ver un endometrioma de 5cm, no tanto ver que pueden estar afectados otros órganos o zonas. Y no, no es “invisible” hay muchos profesionales (cada vez más) que ven los focos mucho mejor. Se ve en ecos y resonancias con preparación específica; no es imprescindible una laparoscopia.

Es fácil ver un endometrioma de 5cm, no tanto ver que pueden estar afectados otros órganos o zonas. Y no, no es “invisible” hay muchos profesionales (cada vez más) que ven los focos mucho mejor. Se ve en ecos y resonancias con preparación específica; no es imprescindible una laparoscopia.

Es fácil entender por qué, entonces, es doloroso: Si todos los meses te crece y se te necrosa ese endometrioma, sin poder ser expulsado su contenido al exterior, te va a provocar una dolorosísima reacción inflamatoria mientras se reabsorbe como puede.

Another interesting thing that has happened since removing the large endometrioma, is that I no longer get hot sweating episodes when I'm upright.
When I would sit vertically, I would get really really hot and break out into a sweat. And then my heart would start racing.

Es que ya el colofón, es que con ese endometrioma tal y donde estaba, hubiera sido un auténtico milagro quedarme embarazada. Tanto como para fundar una religión, tal y como le contesté. Y lo que tú dices. No quiero embarazo. Quiero tener calidad de vida independiente de ser "una vasija o no". Copón.
Sobre meu susto de ontem, fica a dica para o #jurisky #juristt: em junho do ano passado eu tinha feito um exame que já mostrava esse endometrioma, mas ele era pequeno. Na época, o tratamento seria com remedio, mas foi durante o concurso do TJ e não voltei no médico. A cada novo edital eu adiava+

endometriosis can vary so much and so often doctors will dismiss you if you don't have heavy periods (which happened to me despite dozens of ultrasounds showing what is very obviously an endometrioma) and it can be so hard to get in with a specialist who will take your symptoms seriously

I really wish I could get this 8 cm sized endometrioma out of my body.
It is extremely uncomfortable and it's very hard to go to the bathroom.
I cannot believe I'm going to have to wait a few months before surgery.

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis on Monday. I'm lucky: I have an INCREDIBLE gynecologist who discovered it during a laparoscopy to remove my tubes and a 6 cm endometrioma. From emergency room visit with burst cyst to today was a year. I cannot tell you how fast that is comparatively.
Long wait times. Out-of-country surgeries. Canadian women have to fight for gynecological care. It’s long past time we fix it. — by @namshine.bsky.social

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis on Monday. I'm lucky: I have an INCREDIBLE gynecologist who discovered it during a laparoscopy to remove my tubes and a 6 cm endometrioma. From emergency room visit with burst cyst to today was a year. I cannot tell you how fast that is comparatively.
I have stage 4 endo and the only thing that has ever shown up on imaging is my abdominal wall endometrioma when you could easily feel it on the surface.

Hombre, ahí una exploración abdominal y al menos una triste ecografía me parecen bastante procedentes, que igual tienes un endometrioma demasiado cerca del tubo digestivo que te está causando esa sintomatología.
