Erestor refuses to attack first be it practice or a true foe. Okay, fine. Except Erestor catches his fake-out, evades, and calls out his tell. They they proceed to go on longer than Glorfie would have guessed. Erestor mostly evading. Getting quite cut up. Then disarmed. Except that doesn't stop it.

In my head canons Glorfindel has always been the type who gave others nicknames. ( Just maybe not always to thier faces);Just because he knew he could get away with it.
But I never settled on what he'd call Elrond (sparingly) or Erestor ( loves how it irritates him)

There were 0 good ideas in that entire meeting, so really the logic went, if every idea is batshit anyway, we may as well do what we REALLY want to get done. But considering he had the most conservative idea of the lot, Erestor was clearly *struggling* with the whole Mordor business 😂

I am *not* a longfic writer! This took me five years to write. 😭 It also was back when I was still experimenting with my headcanons for Glorfindel and Erestor. I write them differently now, but I'm still fond of this fic. Arranged marriage is life!
