#temnovember2024 day 17: Eryosuchus
We are still going on #temnovember and we have another #capitosaur, the sizeable #Eryosuchus, a close relative of #Mastodonsaurus from the middle #triassic of Russia
#paleoart #sciart #amphibian #temnospondyl

So we see 2 distinct faunas in this episode
Sokolki Fauna assemblage from the late permian
Eryosuchus fauna assemblage from the middle triassic
Now for those who watched Walking With Monsters that also tried to dipict the Sokolki fauna however over half of the animals aren't from that locality.
