The EU and others need to lean into the EUROSTACK, and give the world an information backbone that doesn’t rely on billionaire whims.
The U.S. needs strict, enforced regulations on tech, user data, and privacy - at least in line with the other wealthy democracies we like to compare ourselves to.
Until then, more and more Americans are going to conclude Silicon Valley tech is just as dangerous to their own interests as China’s is.

Its this kind of thing and the Disney lawyers that came after me that made me stop believing in Eurostack as an entity and approach. I believe in sovereignty & resilience but not in creating a tech leadership entity that trumpets CEOs like Yen just cos they are outside US.

The UK Gov is still on X, despite Musk using the Starlink "kill switch", to leave Ukraine completely exposed to Russia.
Every UK public body needs to get off X.

The #EuroStack is slowly being built but it requires massive investment and all efforts (understandably) is currently going towards defence and rearmament. We need to unify Capital Markets in order to make large scale investments possible. We will get there. Just need to hurry up.
