HSC is done.

It feels like we've been living this for ages. The driving to exams. The late night herbal teas. The lunches out after some exams. Being sent to bed early (us) before morning exams.
And it is all over.
Yay.

Having a monstrously large cock to counteract getting a single point below 90% on exams

10 years ago, on the morning after the 2016 election, I took my PhD comprehensive exams at 8:30am. The exams went fine, but my goodness were people not excited to reflect on the relationship between race and state power.

I’m not saying you gotta hand it to the IRGC but I’m just saying if you were marking exams you’d have to really believe in madman theory to hand it to Trump

I wonder how she'd react to being told he is studying for exams and perhaps they could discuss her issues once the exams are over. Then turn his phone off

We haven't gotten an answer on that, but AI has definitely made its mark on our Honor Code.

Sports bans are one of the big fronts against transphobia. A huge test will be Tuesday in WA and CO.

Know before you vote:

1 These bans are not based on science.

2 They are profoundly anti-girl. Republicans in WA want “sex verification” of all girls K-12.

That means genital exams.
Too many Democrats concede as "fact" the stereotype-driven propaganda that far-right groups like the Alliance Defending Freedom have promoted: that trans athletes at all ages and forever have a competitive advantage and that safety, even, is at issue.

A long body of research disproves these claims
Republicans are putting transphobia on the November ballot in seven questions in five states. The measures reflect broad anti-feminist aims, from "sex verification" for girls to limits on reproductive rights, an analysis by @billiejsweeney.bsky.social for Assigned Media and Important Context finds.

Just anything at all. Group projects. Exams. Whether exams are good or not. Whether homework is good or not

I wonder if we're going to see a revival in penmanship classes at all levels of education to accommodate the return to handwritten exams and essays.

These bluebook midterm exams will be the death of me! If only I didn't feel that written exams are a better assessment of student learning than multiple-choice exams.

The Conic Sections Rebellion:

When blackboards were introduced in 1830, Yale started making students draw diagrams of conic sections on the blackboard as part of their exams.

96 students refused to take the exams. Yale expelled 43 of them - and warned nearby universities not to accept them!

Other animals have their own minds, their own experiences, their own relationships, their own interests and their own lives.

Not human lives. Their lives.
Stop Making Animals Pass Human Exams
Humans love setting exams for other animals. Animals have their own minds, their own experiences, their own relationships, their own interests and their own lives.
