Rewatching "Exorcist: The Beginning" (2004). Horror movie starring Stellan Skarsgård, Izabella Scorupco and James D'Arcy. I know this one gets a lot of hate but I have liked it ever since I first saw it in the cinema.

Saw #DominionPrequelToTheExorcist - a shitty film I initially assumed was a sequel to #ExorcistTheBeginning. Instead, the movie is a virtual REMAKE of that mediocre film. Or would it be the other way around? All I know is, I feel like I’ve been scammed by the movie studio(s) of both prequel films. Ⓐ

In closing, #ExorcistTheBeginning is a way better film than I expected - though it’s mediocre at best. Props for showing a child mauled to death by hyenas ONSCREEN, and children getting their brains blown out by an evil Nazi ONSCREEN. So the level of violence/gore for this movie pleased me. Ⓐ
