I can never tell whether he's lying for money or has gone a little nuts, but either way, this is a man who routinely has moon landing deniers, exorcists, and a wide range of crazy hucksters on his show.

We don't get psychological depth for any exorcists except Vaggi and Lute, but I can tell Lute had an unrequited crush on Vaggi. She sublimated those feelings into rivalry. I don't think it's common or even allowed. I think she was ashamed of her feelings.
