My “I don’t really believe this but it would be so cool” theory is previously unknown stratospheric life forms with weird extremophile characteristics
There's probably some really cool unknown atmospheric phenomena buried in high-quality (ie military) UFO sightings, but I will eat my shoes if we find an alien civilization is behind it.
Over both UFO sightings and Havana syndrome I’ve had people insist to me that because the individuals involved are educated professionals they couldn’t possibly be subject to mistaken identifications or mass hysteria and, whoa, well, oh boy.

Darin leben seltene extremophile Mikroorganismen.

Extremophile is eligible for your nomination/vote in most of the decent SFF awards this year. If you liked it, all support appreciated

yeah basically you can't really use the site for anything remotely to do with ai unless you're an extremophile. there's a reason why most of the people who talk about ai the most are Combat Posters, anyone who does not thrive on conflict simply stops bothering to post at some point
Deleted a post that was going viral and bringing an undesirable amount of attention from anonymous accounts. But, I'm going to be honest, the toxic folks here have won. So much of the usage of the site is about avoiding their attention. I'll just use this site to get book recs going forward

Volcanic National Park flourished at 63ºC, propelling it into the exclusive club of “extremophile” organisms existing in Earth’s most severe environments. Extremophiles found in places from the poles to the ocean floor offer evolutionary insights and potential practical applications.
