自動車会社としては、全く儲からん事業に優秀な人をずっと貼り続けていく事ができるかどうか。前回F1PU開発のトップだった浅木さんも、前々回のF1のPU開発から撤退によりレースエンジン部門からは民生部門に配置転換となり、N系軽自動車を作る事になったのは有名な話で、欧州なら有り得ない。欧州でもアメリカでもレースエンジン屋はレースエンジンしかやらない。その会社が撤退したら、他のレースエンジン会社に転職する。ホンダだったら、せめて国内レースか米国のレースエンジンに開発に配置転換して、レースをやらせないとミームが継承できていかないが、ホンダにはその余裕がない。
