More (disappointed) thoughts: The F4 and Kaning have all evolved (even Thyme). Gorya is still trying to solve problems solo & putting everyone's needs before her own. When will we see her truly grow up? (again it's a problem with the original story) #F4ThailandEP14

I have no deep analysis this week, alas. The symbolism was way too obvious with the way they dressed Roselyn and the chess board. There's metaphor and then there's a mallet to the forehead and this episode was the latter. #F4ThailandEP14

No shade to the actors. The performances were all great, especially Tu's heartbreak and Bright's soft moment on the rooftop. Dew also stood out and wow did he improve a lot over the course of the drama. Kudos to him for working so hard on his performance. #F4ThailandEP14

Something I did like was seeing the business ramifications of bringing Thyme back under Roselyn's control, how Parama Group is in real danger and the effect it has on the larger economy. #F4ThailandEP14 does a good job of making the business story meaningful in a big way.

Having Ren be the one who travels & finds her is undermining Thyme & makes Ren seem like the more loyal, steadfast lover for Gorya. All of this is baked into the original story and I don't think there was any good way for #F4ThailandEP14 to deal with this bad characterization.+

Unfortunately the way the original plot is written makes Gorya and Thyme seem weak. Gorya didn't bring Thyme with her to confront his mother. Even before they broke up she wasn't thinking of the two of them as a team. And Thyme gave up way too easily. #F4ThailandEP14 +

Did you notice that the entire cast looked visibly older/more mature in the flower shop scene early in #F4ThailandEP14? Like I'm pretty sure Tu and Prim are taller and Dew is less gangly. The show took so long to film because of covid shutdowns, it must've been so hard.
