It's too easy to put weight on and genetics should have evolved to redress this. I'm no scientist, but perhaps creating a new organ to turn fat into brain matter? Maybe create a new junction in the digestive tract so fat can be fast tracked to the bowel? Just a couple of ideas.

The first stage is gastrointestinal distress. The fast-growing cells in your GI tract are unable to replicate and become a shredded mess. There's a lot of pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This starts ~8-24 hours after ingestion. It's bad, but it's about to get worse.
