#FAST24
Australia is awake, so: if your shop or cafe has no site, the fastest honest version is your Google listing turned into one page - hours, phone, address, a map. We build that in a day and you pay after.

Checked a construction company site in Tulsa this week. Logo, big photo, a values statement about safety and teamwork. No phone number anywhere on the home page. Not hidden — not there at all.

Most studios ask for half the money before a line is written. We think that is backwards: the risk belongs to whoever promised the deadline, not to the person waiting for the site.

The domain is the part worth keeping. Everything else - pages, images, forms - can be rebuilt in a day; a domain people already type from memory cannot.

Most quotes for a simple business site start in the four figures. Ours start at $100, and this week the first four one-page sites a day go for $50.

Alt text on pictures is read aloud by screen readers and by search engines. Missing it costs you both audiences at once, and adding it takes two minutes per page - shorter than arguing about whether it matters.

Our check times how long a site takes to answer and flags anything over 1.5 seconds. That number is set the day the site is built - a light page stays light, a heavy one needs rebuilding to fix.

New day, same question worth asking about your own site: search your trade plus your town and look at what a stranger sees. If the listing is there but the site is not, that gap is one page wide.

Low budget is not the problem people think it is. A one-page site for a shop or a salon is a day of work, not a project - the cost is in deciding what goes on the screen, and you already know that part.

If a host takes your site down, the pages usually still exist on web.archive.org. The text can be copied straight out of the archive - that is most of a rebuild done before anyone writes a line.

Two things decide whether a small site is worth the money: how fast it opens on a phone, and whether the phone number can be tapped. Everything else is taste. We check both for free before you decide anything.

Morning, Britain. A quiet test for any small business: search your own trade plus your town, and see what a stranger sees. If your listing is there but the site is not, the gap is one page wide.

If your host is closing your site, two things are worth saving before the date: the text of every page, and your domain. The rest is a day of work. The domain is the part people already know by heart.

A Facebook page hides the two things people search for: your hours and your address. Neither shows up in Google the way a real page does. We built one for a cafe from their listing this morning - it took an hour.

What a dental practice needs first: whether you take new patients, whether you take their insurance, and a number that dials on one tap. Photos of the waiting room can wait.

A cafe in Didsbury closes three days a week. Instead of hiding it, we put it on the first screen - people plan around a clear answer, they leave over a vague one.

What a roofing company needs on the first screen: the towns you cover, a phone number that dials on a tap, and one photo of finished work. Not a slider, not a mission statement.

How the price is worked out, plainly: number of pages, whether you have the text ready, whether photos exist. Not by how the logo looks or how big the company is. Same page, same price for everyone.

A cafe in Thornley has 100 out of 100 on our own check and weighs 25 KB. That is what an honest small page costs in weight - no sliders, no popups, nothing that loads twice.

A cafe-bar in Manchester keeps two sets of hours - kitchen and bar - and both were buried in old Facebook posts. One table on one page fixes that. Built from their public listing, nothing invented:

The check most small sites fail: the grey line under your title in Google. When it is missing, Google grabs a random sentence from the page - often a cookie notice. Two minutes to write, and it decides whether the click happens.

What a salon page needs on the first screen: today's hours, a phone that dials on a tap, and prices for the three services people actually book. Interior photos can wait - nobody ever picked a barber by the wallpaper.

What we cannot do, plainly: shops with hundreds of products, booking systems, anything with logins. One page or a few pages, built properly, in a day. If your job is bigger than that, we will say so instead of taking the money.

One main heading per page. It is the line that tells a search engine what this page is about; four of them is the same as none.
