We had a stunning day today, and we had an opportunity to get out on the fells so Scafell Pike was the walk of choice 😀

Just launched alongside a brilliant exhibition at the Rheged Centre "Forty Fells - Conversations about change in the Lake District mountains" is a set of stories & photographs linked to forty Cumbrian fells. Look out for our chapter. Photos: Tom McNally.

I know it's a bit late, but here's the sunset from earlier. We were sitting around a firepit watching it - lovely

Despite disliking my height being a tall trans girl I must admit that I like being exacly 6 feet tall, just in this particularly case I enjoy imperial system more than internacional because it's a full number (1,83m fells taller)

Tarn Hows at the beginning of one November. Looking along the tarn, surrounded by autumnal trees and bracken, towards the higher fells in the distance.

Yesterday’s high pressure led to remarkably clear skies. This view, from Orchard Park, Giffnock, is looking North along the Fenwick Rd. The Campsie Fells are almost 20 miles distant but look but a short walk away.

Gorgeous #autumn colours on the trees, with the huge Campsie Fells behind them.
