Spent about 2 hours playing from fakebooks tonight, mostly Rodgers and Hart and Ellington, and, well, that was my dream when I took up the piano again 14 years ago. That’s fun.

Complaining on the fakebooks helps find our people. But, if we're going to resist what's coming, it'll require general strikes (a la the French)-not in the labor sense-the boycotting of goods; physical marching, no buying from billionaire firms who bend the knee. I wonder if folks could do it.
