I genuinely need an answer as to why so many indie devs partner with Materia Collective. Is there... No other publishing company that won't fuck over creators of fantracks..?

Toby fox APPARENTLY derailing the artistic vision of a game because he snuck a 3 second leitmotif in while having a mindset of "i cant hold a candle to the original OST so im gonna try making fantracks"

They keep hiding behind the 'it's youtube's policies, not ours' but just recently they're draining revenue out of fan creators and it's... Gross. Like, I sorta am genuinely scared for not only UT/DR fantracks, but the Pizza Tower and (admittedly rare) Antonblast ones, as well.

Idk what can be done about Fantracks being taken down, but the fact that Criticism against them can be legally threatened is quite unacceptable, especially because their claims that it sends others to Harass them is shoddy at best, as OP's post did not incite harassment.

5. Song that might play when Ritsuka gets TIRED of your ass! GENUINELY tired!!
Do we count fantracks?
I feel this one is way too good to just ignore it.

Be it traditional art, remixes, fantracks, comics/dubs, animations, cosplays, or entire separate games, Undertale acts as a vibrant spark to light the fire of creation in so many people. The talent I see on display day in and day out blows me away.
Here's to 10 years, and to 999 more, Undertale!

another thing I'll add is that I personally like the spamtracks when they're done right; if they sound like shit (like Quaternion) then no. but you don't have to like the spamtracks. there are fantracks that aren't spammy, and fantracks aren't your only choice of FNF music like I said.
just a reminder that hating on FNF doesn't make you automatically cool, let alone if your only experience with FNF stuff is listening to those "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzphpbia 9 billion notes" Dave and Bambi spamtracks. try listening to the vs Shaggy ost or hit single or Retrospecter.

also I've been meaning to ask this to somebody who makes UST fansongs, would it be considered rude to ask a UST artists to use their fantracks in fanprojects?

Might just be my impostor syndrome seeping through, can't even enjoy the first time something I've made gets some recognition because I feel inferior to everyone else
Still though, I wanna use this thread to recommend some really good Ramb fantracks
