⚠️ !! CW: MILD BLOOD AND VIOLENCE !! ⚠️

"Kneel or you and your pathetic dreams will perish before you, you pathetic little cloud."

- Emperor Gaius to Farys

#Vesperamus #OC #OCSky #originalcharacter #art
A picture of Emperor Gaius grabbing a disheveled Farys roughly by his bangs. With a pained, desperate expression, Farys is feebly grasping the Emperor's arms with one of his hands, in a desperate final attempt to fight back. The Emperor is wielding strong magic in his free hand, with the intention of dealing the final blow. In the background are stained glass windows; which of some were shattered by a presumably violent fight. In the distance behind Farys is his chipped sword, and even further back is his friend Elian, unconscious and face down on the ground. The picture is entirely done digitally with red hues and dark ink brush pen.

Grei being aggressively nice to Farys.

#Vesperamus #OC #originalcharacter #art #bskyart
Grei: "Learn how to accept compliments you deserve, no self-deprecation... or else." Grei is doing a "cicada block" against Farys; in a way that he's using his leg to pin Farys against a wall while aggressively telling him that he deserves to be praised despite what he thinks. Farys often has a hard time believing compliments and often downplays himself.

A portrait of my original character (OC), Farys! In 3/4 view, he is looking ahead with what appears to be a concerned look on his face. He has creamy white hair, tan skin, and brown eyes with prominent eyelashes. His outfit consists of a white and gold armour and bulletproof vest under it, with blue capes of varying shades. He holds a white gun with golden accents to match his outfit.

"The world may be cruel, but you don't have to be."

Or something along those lines, from Farys to Serafino! I think they both learned from each other: Farys learned that certain people could be crueler than expected, Serafino learned that certain people could also be kind because they choose to be.

The duality of Farys

#Vesperamus #OC #OCSky #originalcharacter #art
My original character, Farys Langit! The picture on the left is of him greeting the viewer with a warm smile. It is how he normally greets his friends and other people that he is comfortable enough with. The picture on the right is of him with a piercing glare and some bloodstains from the battle; tthe warmth now gone and instead replaced with the fervor of abhorrence. It is assumed that he is glaring straight at the Emperor who once pillaged his peaceful hometown and burned everything down afterwards.

Typical scenarios that led up to this:

"You're so good at using guns! That's amazing!"

Farys: Oh, I'm not really that good with them... but thank you.

"You're so pretty, Farys!"

Farys: Um... thank you! But I'm not really...

And that's when Grei butts in to aggressively tell him he's worth it.

THREAD: My #OC s in my original project, #Vesperamus vs their original concept art (as former fan characters in #Castlevania).

2025 vs 2019: Farys

[Descriptions in alt text!]
(2025) Farys, a gunslinger paladin. He has tan skin, brown eyes, and white hair; his outfit consisting of a white and gold armour and bulletproof vest under it, with a blue cape. He holds a white gun with golden accents to match his outfit. Despite his determination in battles, he's actually a mild-mannered pacifist outside of them. He also may need to get out of his shell a bit more, as despite his strength, he's quite the introvert and isn't really much for social gatherings unless needed. He's quite awkward accepting compliments as well, but has since been learning. He looks up to his mentor, Jonah, who is a weapons master. He has lost his family already, and so Jonah took him in fully under his wing and they've been thick as thieves ever since. (2019) Farys' original concept: young Julius Belmont. He has long brown hair tied into a ponytail with a black ribbon. He wears a red scarf and has a long brown coat with a white dress shirt under it. His outfit is adorned with white and gold. His personality couldn't be more different from Farys. I took design elements from him and took his heroic aspects, he still has a mentor named Jonah, but left most of my original concepts for him. I portrayed Young Julius as a somewhat cocky young man, highly aware of his abilities as the strongest Belmont, not afraid to fight when he feels disrespected, and he can be a little immature as well. He does have a heart of fire and gold though. This was deliberately made to contrast his present-day self where he's a lot more reserved and mature; it was highly implied that he learned from experience.

...... I needed to own him HAHAHAHAHA

Farys is his own character though; I have been developing him more and he seems softer in a sense that he seems much less reluctant to fight whereas Firion gets right to business and requests to join the rebellion. Farys is also far less gullible

Farys. A young man with long white hair tied midway (not seen in picture). He has brown eyes and tan skin. He has two moles under his left eye, and another one under his lip. He wears golden earrings shaped like a crescent moon, a breastplate and metallic shoulder pads that are white and gold; he wears a blue cape, and underneath it all he wears a dark brown vest with asymmetric sleeves and gloves presumably made of leather. On his right hand, he holds a white and gold gun.
