#Fastmail
My ADHD is giving dividends today. My Fastmail won't talk to Thunderbird and hyperfocus has kicked in, allowing me to stagger through the incomprehensible jargon to get it going. It's so far taken about 20 hours.....er.. with a glass of red, even at 1700 hrs...

Yeah alias and masked email support on Fastmail is just so good! The fact they've added EU servers though is great, and auto migrated many customers.

Last year, I moved from Fastmail to Proton Mail. I had 2 objectives in mind: privacy and data hosting in Europe. A year later I am actually making the opposite move. FM now have servers in the EU; the user experience is simply better on Fastmail; better search and the I miss the multiple aliases.

Working through integrations to get permission for logos for them. Coming in the next update.

What integrations would be useful in an email app for you?

Fastmail “masked email” is great, but if you own your own domain there is another option that’s very handy: create an email address on the fly using any-word-you-want@yourdomain.fastmail.com

I also tried the Fastmail import feature to import my email over from Gmail. I got some duplicates, mostly just emails in my inbox and with custom labels that already existed in my Fastmail account.

Finally got around to switching my email around to forward from Gmail to Fastmail instead of the other way around (I used to read and send email from the Gmail app, even for my custom domains).

Ever opened a thread again and wondered what you were planning to do with it?

Add a private memo to a message in WMail. It’s saved as a Fastmail memo, so you’ll see it in WMail and in Fastmail on the web.

Your Fastmail accounts together as last.

Add as many Fastmail or JMAP accounts as you like and read them in one unified inbox. A colour ring shows which account each email came to, and every account keeps its own signature and aliases.

I'm a little annoyed that I did Fastmail, a service I really like!, because then if I want to dump google docs/sheets I probably have to do proton for that. I am currently using Ellipsus, which is very nice, but don't have a Sheets replacement yet

Liker Fastmail!

@aram I use Fastmail in the browser exclusively, have for years. I've used WebCatalog to make it a desktop app in the past, now I just use a pinned tab in a browser that I use for go-to stuff.

I've been using Fastmail without issue with two domain names for about a year now. Masked emails are great.

I also considered Proton, but their emails and apps sometimes break when you share with others because of the way their encryption works. I'm also not a fan of the CEO endorsing Trump.

Yeah I'm going to do the same. How many email addresses do you get? Fastmail has a feature where several all point to yours
