Not just on a kink level, on a full on fatlib level. It's infuriating.
Like #1 infuriating thing as a fat enjoyer is when a fat character is adapted skinny. I was going to say "fat book character", but it's not just books to movies, it's comics to TV/movies, plays to revivals, it's everything. They'll skinnywash anything that breathes.

the more i post fatlib stuff on the internet the more i get this deeply worrying sense that most people outright refuse to even entertain the thought that fat people are in fact an oppressed group of people, no thanks to the huge amount of propaganda telling us we're "doing it to ourselves"

I’m gonna need the ones defending the ppl who lose weight’s bodily autonomy to start also coming to the defense of fat ppl, esp larger fat ppl, who choose healing+radical acceptance. IWL criticism is far less concerning than the hate we get for going against the grain. #WeightStigma #HAES #FatLib

I basically used willpower and feminist/queer/anticapitalist/fatlib theory to cure myself of serious bodily dysmorphia, and I’m pretty proud of that. I should probably do some writing about it. I think there’s not enough resources out there and I might be able to help somebody.

this is why i don’t do body positivity btw. that’s not what i’m about. i *do* occasionally do fat positivity as an incidental act, but i am primarily about fat liberation. separately from that i am a sex worker informed by fatlib, but at no point am i doing any half-measure body positivity. just fyi

thank you 💜💜 full liberation or nothing! fat ppl deserve to exist unconditionally, and that means so much more than just feeling attractive imo. starting with self-love had me bouncing back and forth on recovery but fatlib honestly reworked my entire self-conception and informed my politics.
