3. I have no maps 😭 I'd love to map all three cities in relation to each other (The City in the Sky, on the Ground, under the Waves), but I haven't found software that allows me to work vertically rather than horizontally... #februaryworldbuilders

13. I'm certain combat magic does exist in the world of my WIP. However, as it doesn't play a role in the story, I haven't developed it. I don't really like magic as a substitute for fists/bombs/etc. I prefer magic to fulfil a poetic role, heighten tension, & build atmosphere. #FebruaryWorldbuilders

9. There are at least two categories of Alchemy: applied alchemy (whereby objects are infused with the qualities of other objects and/or transformed) and speculative alchemy (whereby theoretical riddles like the philosopher's stone and self-transformation are studied). #FebruaryWorldbuilders
