In 2020, Brazil launched Pix, a public digital payment system during Covid. It is now dominant, undercutting credit & debit card providers, reducing transaction costs, enhancing productivity & increasing financial competition.
Don't tell me the state can't innovate.

I wish more sites would look into fednow in the usa. There's GOTTA be a way to use it for general online shopping.

Tbh I think it hasn't gotten bad because everyone did rightfully buy up so much stock that they still haven't burned through all of it

an ideal world is FedNow and Pix but we live under a regime that has, defacto, made FedNow illegal and is currently attempting an economic embargo against the country that implemented Pix because it is seen as disadvantageous to private payment processors
