For the benefit of non-archaeologists who are never sure whether an archaeology article reported in the press is fringe or legit: Gary Feinman is about as mainstream and established as it gets in American anthropological archaeology. This is serious research.

The man who shot & killed the CEO of United Healthcare wrote on the bullet casings, "Deny, Defend, Depose".

This appears to reference the 2010 book "Delay, Deny, Defend" by Jay Feinman, which outlines the processes insurance companies use to deny claims.

I hope they don't catch him.

One of my readers at The Left Hook just left about the CEO shooter:

"There's a book written by Jay M. Feinman, "Delay, Deny, Defend - Why insurance companies don't pay claims and what you can do about it". The shell casings from the bullets, apparently, had the words "Deny, Depose, Defend" on them"

Seems like that might be relevant.

Has anyone here read Delay, Deny, Defend by Jay M. Feinman already? Going through it now and it's amazing. It's actually very mild, technical and factual, but the stuff it reveals is mind-boggling
