In October and November I will be having an MRI, a blood test and a Fibroscan - I will also spend half a day in hospital for my cognitive tests and won’t have to pay anything thanks to the French Social Security sysyem

So in April/May I was being tested to go on new medication, they found Hepatitis C, been off my meds ever since and shitting myself, no obvious cause has been found as it is only me, no needles/tattoos/other sexual partners/etc, I got a fibroscan and an all clear today, never been so relieved.
Nothing but good news will update when home

I just think that this series of events:
- stop smoking for 4+ months
- eat more fiber & veg
- drink more water
- continue habit of drinking basically no alcohol
Ending in "your FibroScan showed that you have the fattiest possible liver with severe scarring"

Prof. ist zufrieden mit dem Verlauf und dem Fibroscan. Leber steht gut da, solange ich meine Medis nehme, ist alles gut.
Ich kann mir also jetzt überlegen, ob ich die andere Rheumatherapie starte. Müsste dann aber in kürzeren Abständen zum Laborcheck.

Have to get a Fibroscan in a few hours, so looking at the Indian restaurant in that same plaza, so I can eat something right after to eat due to having to fast for the scan.
Scan is, like, $150 because capitalism.
But—I am going to get the white sauce chicken pasta plus a butter chicken wrap.

Have to get a Fibroscan in a few hours, so looking at the Indian restaurant in that same plaza, so I can eat something right after to eat due to having to fast for the scan.

So, so long as I don't drink (which I haven't been and plan on sticking to), it's actually extremely low likelihood that I'll need a liver transplant.
I still have to worry about my heart failure, but this is a massive weight off my shoulders.
